  To Purchase Teas

Our single origin and premium loose leaf and artisan flowering teas and accessories are always available for sale at custom class seminars and during seminars at Cathy's Corner with special seminar pricing.

Our teas are packaged in round, stainless tins with a clear window on top which allows the beauty of the teas to be seen. These decorative tins are color coded with embossed satin ribbons and have tea type, brewing time and temperature printed on the bottom.

Each tin holds enough tea to make 20 to 30 exquisite cups of tea.

WHITE TEA
  Pai Mu Tan
This new style white tea is composed of the unopened leaf bud and the top two leaves of the tea plant (two leaves and a bud). The unopened bud is covered with fine downy white hairs (hence the name white tea). It has a delicate, but distinct flavor.

GREEN TEA

Dragon Well (Lung Ching/Long Jing) This renowned Chinese tea has a distinct flat shaped leaf, deep green color and sweet, almost floral aroma.

Chinese Young Hyson This refreshing green tea is made from young spring leaves and brews a light green color with medium body.

Sencha Green teas in Japan are steamed when first picked which seals in their vibrant green color and highlights the herbaceous notes. This traditional style has a flat leaf with a classic sweet, grassy note.

Great Falls Peachy Green This sencha is blended with bits of peach and oil of peach. A fresh, flavorful combination.

Lemon Ginger A combination of Chinese green tea, lemon grass, lemon myrtle and bits of ginger, this blended tea is perfectly balanced.

ARTISAN TEA

Jasmine Blossoms An assortment. Hidden within these hand tied balls of Chinese green tea leaves are a variety of flowers, waiting to sway to and fro in the jasmine scented brew.

Mint Blossoms This green tea opens to reveal a chartreuse tinted amaranth flower and soothes the palate with subtle mint.

Oolong Blossoms A similar bloom to the mint blossom, but with the revered flavor of a classic green style oolong.

Midnight Bloom Black This hard to find black blooming tea has a delightful undertone of cocoa in its aroma and taste.

OOLONG TEA

Ti Kuan Yin-Iron Goddess of Mercy A Chinese Tribute Tea, lightly oxidized so it imparts an orchid-like floral aroma and light green color. Requires several infusions for the tightly rolled leaves to unfurl completely to release its fullest flavor.

Nilgiri Frost Oolong This rare tea from the Nilgiri Mountains in southern India is picked just as the leaves start to freeze. It has long, wiry leaves. It brews close to a black tea due to its high oxidation level.

Our premium tea leaves may be infused two and more times. Each infusion brings out another level of flavor and is a value added aspect of premium teas.

Additional selections of tea are available seasonly.

BLACK TEA
Great Falls Breakfast Blend Based on classic blends of Indian Assam and mid grown Ceylon teas, our version is malty but brisk with a clean, fresh taste. Delicious on its own but can easily stand up to milk, sugar, honey or lemon.

Castleton Estate This is an exquisite example of a second flush (early summer season) from India’s Darjeeling region in the Himalayas. Its medium body with distinct muscatel notes is more pronounced than those of the first flush (spring season) harvesting of leaves.

Lapsang Souchong The distinct smokiness of this tea is developed as the leaves absorb the smoke from the pine wood fires used in the drying process.

Pressed Hearts These small cakes of black tea come from China’s Yunnan region, famous for turning tea into bricks, which at one time was used as money. This tea brews with a slightly smoky aroma and taste that is very characteristic for black teas from this region.

Pu Erh This ancient style of Chinese black tea is only recently arriving in the American markets. It is most often sold in pressed form (large and small) but can be found in loose leaf, too. It has a distinct earthy aroma and taste due to the fact that it is slightly fermented. Some Pu Erhs are aged for many years.

Great Falls Grey A softer but more complex version of traditional Earl Grey. Our blend has a touch of vanilla and berry combined with classic bergamot and brought to visual life with the addition of cornflower, marigold and safflower petals.

Creamy Orange Tea from the Nilgiri region in southern India is the base for this amazingly fragrant tea blended with orange peel, vanilla bean and marigold petals. It is satisfying and delicious enough to drink as a dessert.

Coconut Crème Another dessert style tea with a Nilgiri black tea base blended with bits of coconut and vanilla bean. A touch of the islands all year long.

Fennel Chai A blend of fennel, cinnamon and ginger root highlights this profile. Brew and drink black, or the traditional way with milk and sugar.

Great Falls Berry Patch DECAF A blend of red berries flavors this tea for those who need to restrict their intake of caffeine.

Vanilla Velvet Rooibos This caffeine free HERBAL comes from South Africa. A touch of vanilla smoothes and naturally sweetens this tisane.
